The Emily Ash Trust
Whilst excellent medical assistance is provided through the care network, it was clear that this terrible disease had far wider effects on the sufferer and the family supporting those who are sick. Inspired by Emily who had been suffering from leukaemia for some years, it was decided to help raise funds to improve the quality of life for these children and their families.
We provide help and resources with the aim of improving the quality of life of children and young adults suffering with cancer and their families. The Trust focuses its help in various ways, including:
- Laptops & walkie-talkies - enabling communication during treatment
- Two free holiday homes in Battle, near Hastings
- Pamper Days at Topshop - London
- Pamper Days at The Royal Marsden
- Sibling days

This is Ellis's Story:
We would like to thank the Otford Four: Elliott Chandler, Samuel Thompson, Samuel Gaskin and Lewis Balcombe, all from Otford Primary School, Sevenoaks. These brave four are friends of Robert, Ellis’s brother. The four boys took on the challenge of a 13 mile, off road bike ride on the 6th March 2010. This was a hard route and took them about 3 1/2 hours. The boys have set up their own JustGiving page; so please help them to help families like Ellis’s and sponsor them @: www.justgiving.com/theotfordfour Well done boys you were fantastic and you can be very proud of your efforts - we certainly are!
